WE: Daily Practice
Mindfulness is the art of giving real attention without needing to react or judge. Learning to use the techniques of mindfulness will ground you on your journey with your loved one with Borderline Disorder, helping you to see yourself and your relationships more clearly and to become more centered and present with the people and things that you love.
Meditation is dedicated time you set aside to take care of yourself - a practical and proven tool that brings mindfulness into action. Through the practice of meditation you can learn to quiet your mind, listen to your breath, and begin, over time, to observe yourself in new ways that helps you in your relationship with your loved one’s journey and, most importantly, in relationship with yourself.
When a relationship is affected by Borderline Disorder, establishing boundaries is often complex. Setting Boundaries will help you move forward towards a healthy relationship without enabling negative behaviors. It will also begin to help you and your loved one who is affected by Borderline Disorder experience the joy and stability that come through having shared boundaries in your relationship.
