I: Daily Practice
Meditation is dedicated time you set aside to take care of yourself - a practical and proven tool that brings mindfulness into action. Through the practice of meditation you can learn to quiet your mind, listen to your breath, and begin, over time, to observe yourself in new ways that help you in your relationship to Borderline Disorder, most importantly, in relationship with yourself.
Mindfulness is the art of giving real attention without needing to react or judge. Learning to use the techniques of mindfulness will ground you on your journey with Borderline Disorder, helping you to see yourself and your relationships more clearly and to become more centered and present with the people and things that you love.
When a relationship is affected by Borderline Disorder, establishing boundaries is often complex. Setting Boundaries will help you move forward towards healthy relationships. It will also begin to help you experience the joy and stability that come through having shared appropriate boundaries in your relationships.
